“Daisy and Tulip are four years old,” explains Andrew Freeman, president of an eponymous San Francisco-based hospitality marketing, public relations and consulting firm. “Truthfully, I never wanted dogs. I thought I was too busy. I am, but I’ve worked it out (dog walker/sitter), and they actually balance me a bit more.” The Yorkies are twin sisters, and Andrew couldn’t bear to split them apart. Besides, they keep each other company when Andrew’s working. He chose Yorkies because “I’m allergic to dogs with fur and Yorkies have hair, so I do well with them. And they are about the cutest dogs you can get.” In addition to the cute factor, both dogs “dance” for treats. And speaking of treats, sir Andrew feeds the princesses a gourmet mix of kibble, organic dog food and chicken, which he makes himself. He says Tulip is the more social one, while Daisy is the shy one. The neighborhood knows them as “the girls.” The girls go to work with Andrew once a week, and they’ve become company mascots. “And they go just about everywhere else with me.” Tulip usually drives.
