In April of this year, Restaurant Hospitality launched a brand-new podcast, Menu Talk, in collaboration with sister publication Restaurant Business. Every week, RH senior food and beverage editor Bret Thorn and RB senior menu editor Pat Cobe talk about their recent foodie adventures in New York City, where they live, and across the country. Each episode also features an interview with a restaurant chef.
There have been more than 30 episodes of Menu Talk with Pat and Bret, so as the year comes to a close, we’re excited to present the 10 most-loved by you, our listeners. These episodes feature conversations on menu trends like mushrooms, low-alcohol beer, and potato cakes. They span industry events including Menu Directions, the MenuMasters Awards, and the James Beard Awards. And they feature interviews with chefs including Pepe Moncayo, Nathan Myhrvold, and Joe Schaeffer.
