On Thursday, Oct. 15 at 12 p.m. EDT, The Coca-Cola Company will present a comprehensive survey of over 400 restaurant operators and 1,500 diners collected during the pandemic to understand what must be done to protect restaurants on the road to recovery. The presentation will include:
How the pandemic has impacted restaurants;
How operators have adapted;
And what will bring diners back to restaurants.
As previously announced, MOD Pizza co-founder Scott Svenson will close out the day at 3 p.m. EDT with a discussion on how the fast-casual pizza brand stayed true to its mission while growing exponentially over 15 years. MOD Pizza, as covered in Nation’s Restaurant News, hires felons, the formerly incarcerated, marginalized communities and those with learning or mental disabilities to work at their units and work their way up in the company.
Svenson will discuss how MOD became an NRN Top 200 brand while maintaining its culture.
