Eggs are lower in cholesterol than you may have thought, according to new nutriton data from the USDA's Agricultural Research Service. Results show the average amount of cholesterol in one large egg is 185 mg, 14 percent lower than previously recorded. The analysis also showed that large eggs contain 41 IU of Vitamin D, which represents a 64 percent increase.
