Appetizers have long been a key revenue driver, but with menu prices climbing, they also offer more accessible entry points for guests seeking value.
Earlier this year, we asked readers to submit their best new menu item. For this list, we focused on appetizers representing certain culinary trends and standout flavors.
Winners this year included a fabulous fried bar food bite on a stick; a more upscale potato skin; oysters as you haven’t seen them before; grilled octopus with a Syrian twist; and tots. There must be tots.
