Ingredients & Directions


12 oz.

Spanish Sauce

1/4 C.
1 Tbsp.
3 oz.
1/2 C.
1/2 C.


Phillips® Yellowfin Tuna Steaks



Unsalted almonds (not dry roasted)
Olive oil
Jarred roasted red peppers
Chatham Village® Garlic & Butter Flavored croutons, or similar flavored croutons
Classico® Spicy Red Pepper Sauce


Optional: additional hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes
  • Cook tuna steaks to desired doneness.

To prepare sauce

  • Toast almonds first by heating 8-10 min. in 375°F. oven. Use a food processor to finely grind almonds
  • Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, pulsing after each addition, until smooth. Sauce will be thick. Hold for service at room temperature.
  • Serve tuna with sauce portioned on the side for dipping or spoon on top of tuna.

Serving suggestion: Serve with warm crusty bread
