1 lb Sea Watch IQF Chopped Sea Clams 2 Cups Tomatoes, diced 1 Cup Onion, diced ½ Cup of each, Red and Green Bell Pepper, diced 1 Tbsp Dry Italian Herbs 3 Fresh Basil Leaves, long chopped 1 Tbsp Fresh Garlic, minced 1 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper 1 Tbsp Olive Oil 1 lb Cooked Pasta
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a small sauce pan, sauté the onions and peppers in the olive oil until the onions are translucent. Add garlic, herbs, tomatoes, and red pepper flakes, let simmer over low heat for 5 minutes then add the frozen clams. Let simmer over low heat for 20 minutes until clams are done. If sauce is too thin, add one teaspoon of starch dissolved in one tablespoon of cold water. Let sauce thicken and pour over pasta.
