As 2024 draws to a close, several unique concepts have taken the plunge into first-time franchising. These brands are looking to fill white spaces in the industry with concepts that don’t really exist yet in the franchising world, including an English tearoom and a French-inspired fast-casual bistro.

These European-inspired foodservice concepts are putting an international spin on what is possible for restaurant franchising in America.

From these European-style concepts to a viral bagel spot, we took a look at five different foodservice concepts that have announced franchising for the first time over the past several months.
